Terms of Service
Please review these terms before scheduling your inspection.
1. Scope of Services
HighRock Property Inspections provides professional home inspection services in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the North Carolina Home Inspector Licensure Board. The inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of the property designed to identify material defects as they exist at the time of the inspection.
2. No Guarantee of Future Performance
The inspection report is an opinion of the present condition of the property. It is not a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy regarding the future life or performance of any item inspected, including mechanical systems, appliances, or structural components.
3. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for ensuring that all utilities are turned on and that all areas of the property are accessible at the time of inspection. Failure to provide access may result in incomplete findings or additional return-trip fees.
4. Limitations of Liability
HighRock Property Inspections' liability for mistakes or omissions in the inspection or report is strictly limited to a refund of the fee paid for the inspection. This inspection is not intended to be used as a substitute for any disclosure required by North Carolina law.
5. Use of Inspection Report
The inspection report is specifically prepared for the exclusive use of the Client named therein. Use by third parties is not authorized, and HighRock Property Inspections assumes no liability for reliance on the report by anyone other than the Client.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at or before the time of the inspection. The finalized report will be released to the Client once payment has been received and the inspection agreement has been signed.
7. Governing Law
These terms and the inspection agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any legal action arising from this agreement must be brought within the appropriate North Carolina court jurisdiction.
